1) Location Suggestions:
• It is up to your group to secure the location for the fund raiser. We do not schedule the location(s) for you.

• Pick your location carefully. Make sure the locations is easily
accessible to your customers. EASY IN
…EASY OUT.

2) Electrical:
• The barbeque rotisserie needs to be within 100 feet of a
110 volt outlet.

• Nine Mile can supply a generator ffor a fee of $25.00, if needed.

3) Ordering:
• Please place your FINAL order six (6) business days prior to the event date.

• Any changes made within 6 days of your event, will be charged a $10.00 service fee, per change.

• Customers with specific needs, such as having the product all done by a certain time, must specify that desire when the even is being scheduled initially.

• Cancellations and/or date changes must be made no later than 6 business days before the event, otherwise, you will be charged 50% of the estimated invoice.

4) Day of Your Fund Raising Event:
• A pre-arranged time should be set with our sales staff for a member of your group to meet with the Nine Mile Barbeque Chef on the day of the event.

• Electricity or generator arrangements should be completed BEFORE arrival.

• It helps to have your workers arrive thirty (30) minutes before serving time.

• It is recommended that three (3) or four (4) adults are present throughout the serving hours.

• Have a work table available at the site.

• At the site, have a cashier’s box fortified with plenty of start-up change.

5) Sanitation & Serving Suggestions:
•One person wearing a single glove handle the product.

• The un-gloved hand is used to open and close the insulated container.

• The person with the gloved hand places the product in the fold-over container. An additional person received the fold-over and closes it.

• The fold-over container should be handed to the customer horizontally so that the juice from the product stays inside the container.

6) Insulated Containers:
• The lid of the insulated container should remain closed as much as possible to keep the product hot.

• You must maintain a temperature of 140 degrees or higher at all times.

• Nine Mile Barbeque will provide an insulated container while your Chef is on-site.

• Be sure to have clean, insulated coolers available for any of your product left a the end of the sale.

7) Finances:
• All groups are required to submit a $100.00 none-refundable deposit upon scheduling an event. This reserves the date and equipment. In order to hold your reservation, Nine Mile Barbeque must receive a copy of your Indiana Not-For-Profit Certificate or Indiana General Sales Tax Exemption Certificate. Otherwise, sales tax will be charged on your invoice. We can not refund sales tax after the invoice has been paid. Nine Mile Barbeque can provide you a form if you need one.

• Please make checks payable to Nine Mile Barbeque. Please include a copy of your invoice in your mailing or include the invoice number, name of your organization, and date of the event on your check before mailing it to us.

8) Fund Raising Hints:
Need more product?
• Check with Nine Mile Barbeque Chef to see if he/she will be able to cook more products within your time limitations.

• Call Nine Mile Barbeque for product availability and delivery options.

Pre-ticket sales— We strongly recommend this!
• Establish a time limit on the tickets, such as 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for ticket holders.

• We encourage you to pre-sell tickets. this will assure a successful fund raising event for your organization, regardless, of the weather on your event date.

Nine Mile Barbeque can not be held responsible for any bodily injury resulting from the organization’s sale of its products to patrons. Nine Mile Barbeque hold itself strictly as a wholesaler to the organization. It is the organization’s sole responsibility to determine the methods by which to sell the product they have purchased from Nine Mile Barbeque.
